Session 9
III Interactions Symposium / Session 9
Local Information Management Centers on Longevity & Ageing
17/03/2021
Promoting ageing in the community (Ageing in place) requires the development of integrated information-sharing systems, which allow effective and efficient management of the resources available in the community. These Local Information Management Centers allow, on the one hand, the early detection of vulnerable people and the identification of their needs and, on the other hand, the integrated and intersectoral management of critical resources for the implementation of the aging paradigm in the community (e.g. health, social, housing, security). However, these systems face significant challenges related to the level of trust with which they are perceived, which is why they should be based on ethical principles of responsibility, commitment, and transparency.
The 9th session of the Interações Symposium will seek to publicize national and European experiences of integrated and collaborative management of information in the area of longevity and ageing.
